Meet the Directors

The Orlando Chapter of Catholic Schoolhouse is blessed to have three directors.

Sarah Giammarinaro

I was born and raised in the Orlando area. My husband of nine years and I reside in Apopka and have two beautiful children and are expecting our third in September. I worked previously as an Executive Director for a Non Profit Organization as well as in Youth Ministry at St. Francis in Apopka. I have an Undergraduate Degree in Business Management from Florida State University and a Masters Degree in Theology from the Augustine Institute. With a four year old and a two year old, our family fun stays pretty simple and includes family walks, time with friends, fun the backyard, swimming and lots of time with grandparents! I am excited to be a part of this new community and to have this wonderful opportunity for my children.

Hi! My husband and I have 7 children, ages 12, 11, 10, 7, 6, 4 and 1. I attended Catholic School for grades 1-12 and have a Masters Degree in Education. I first became involved with Catholic Schoolhouse when we moved to the Tampa Bay area in 2017. We joined and I loved the unity, flexibility, and fun that it brought into our homeschool! It gave us the opportunity to learn as a family and my children appreciated their classroom time with their friends. I appreciated doing the hands on Art and Science in a classroom and not in my living room. In our free time, our family likes to travel, go boating, and spend time at theme parks. Three of our daughters are competitive gymnasts and our boys are a part of the PGA Junior Golf League. In 2020, we moved back “home” to the Orlando area and I am thrilled to be part of establishing CSH in Orlando.

Lauren Taylor

My husband, John, and I have 5 children ages 12, 10, 8, 5 and 3. We met while earning Undergraduate Business Degrees from UF and moved to Clearwater where we got married and started a family while I earned an MBA from USF. I am also a K-12 certified teacher and taught high school for 5 years before staying home with our children.  This year we are beginning our eighth year of homeschool and are so blessed to be a part of the Catholic Schoolhouse community. The Classical model allows us to learn together as a family, while the CSH chapter days allow us to have fun learning with friends. Our Catholic faith is present in every aspect of the day starting with Mass and ending with praying the Angelus. Catholic Schoolhouse has been an answer to our prayers and I am so excited to be a part of it!
